BMW F650GS and F800GS Twin Enhanced Windshield
Specifications:
The
all new twin GS 650/800 enhanced windshield that equals the
performance and stability of our signature GSA series. This shield will
also bolt right up to the OEM BMW touring shield bracket if so equipped
and can also be purchased as a shield only. Unlike the OEM BMW touring
shield, our design provides superior air coverage with our exclusive
reverse curve that takes the air right up and over the rider. This
dramatically changes the rake angle resulting in good clean air which
greatly reduces or eliminates the turbulent buffeting effect.
Our Enhanced shields are an eight hole mount just
like the optional BMW touring shield that comes with the optional
support bracket. If you have the eight hole pattern then only the
replacement shield would be needed. If you have a six hole shield
pattern then the Enhanced system would be required. Please be advised
that the optional OEM BMW support bracket is included with the Enhanced
version only. (The support Bracket can also be
purchased separately for existing Standard Cee Baileys Shields that
would require the owner to drill two additional holes)
It
has been reported by numerous riders and BMW professionals alike that
the optional upgraded OEM BMW touring shield simply doesn’t provide
enough adequate protection. It’s simply too short with a rake angle
that creates a direct ram air to the chin. In contrast our shield is
the polar opposite with a good clean air pocket that out performs the
competition hands down. Now consider our superior optics, style, &
pricing that’s why Cee Bailey’s Twin Enhanced Windshield is simply the
very best performance and value available.
Available in clear, light & dark gray tints made of .187 aircraft
grade acrylic. This shield can be purchased separately to fit your OEM
existing touring shield bracket or the complete enhanced system which
includes the OEM BMW support bracket part # 71 60 7 701 957. It comes
complete with all instructions for an easy fast installation and
all hardware is included.
This shield is only available in the Euro design with sizing as
follows. Four sizes are available in the 16”, 18”, 20”, and the extra
tall 22” version for taller riders.
Suggested
Sizing is for most average body builds. Riders that are caught in
between sizes need to determine torso, posture and neck considerations
for best results. It is always better to be on the next shorter size if
ordering dark gray (Must see over the top).
16” for riders 5’5” and under
18” for riders 5’6” to 5’9”
20” for riders 5’10” to 6’0”
