Our 1200 LT #2 touring shield was designed for the rider and passenger for smooth airflow and quieter noise suppression than the stock OEM shield. This shield has a built in reverse contour that is very subtle, yet pushes the ram air higher than the stock shield. We have added a low pressure point in the shield to deflect more impact air to the sides of the shield; this means less noise for the rider and passenger. Our shield is made of .250 aircraft grade acrylic, and each shield is hand crafted to order. Colors are available in clear, light gray, dark gray, and light green tint. Sizes are available from -4" shorter, to +2" over the stock height. The width of the windshield is approximately 28.5" at the widest point. Please be advised that this shield has a reverse contour and it goes away from away from the rider. Our shield will stand about two inches taller than the OEM of equal length. Our 22”or minus 2” shield will measure about the same physical height as the OEM 24 “once mounted. It has been reported by numerous riders that our -1 & -2" versions provide better protection than the stock shield.

Please be advised BMW manufactures two different shields for this application & the part number is located at the lower portion of the shield. The first and most common shield by far is called the High Shield OEM Part # 46632307914 which is 24” in length. The other shield is called the Nied Rig OEM Part # 46632347010 which is 17” tall & more of a sport shield and very uncommon in USA but quite popular in Europe. Please make a mental note and measure prior to placing the order. The shield is measured from the middle bottom cut out to top center.
